REMINDER: Follow the rule! You have to request to be added! Well, I sometimes add people even if they don't leave a message, but that's because I know them personally, or their LJs interest me. That's it! So if you're only after the goodies and you don't journal much, you have to request to be added! Otherwise, you won't be able to access the mighty goodies!

So I thought I'd update you guys about what I've done/been doing lately.

Well, I will finally get to present my project which I worked on for more than a year. Yeah, it took my procrastinating and immature self an entire year to finish it. I guess that's just how everything goes for me. I just have my own pace~ It's not really that bad when you think about it. I mean, there will be lots of additional responsibilities and functions when I get promoted, and I'm not yet prepared to do any of that. Honestly, I'm just in it for the glory. "If you can get a promotoon, I can get one too."

The presentation will be on the 24th, just two days before my birthday. Wish me luck! If it goes well, I'll celebrate my birthday with glee. If it doesn't, well, I'll probably break down and cry. It took me a year to finish it after all.

On another, much happier note, I just came back from an awesome trip in Laiya, Batangas. The place is cheap but comfortable. Food is superb. And the beach. Wow. I probably stayed immersed in water for more than five hours. The sand was soft and smooth under my feet and the water 's warm enough to get you snoozing in a bit.

We stayed up 'till the wee hours of the morning drinking and playing cards. By 5AM we were laughing our asses off and ending our sentences with "kudasai!" I couldn't recall how it started! They were probably teasing me again with my random spouts of japanese words and it just went crazy!

By six I threw up everything I ate the previous day. It was really crazy.

Think about the year that has passed. all the memories, the entries, and posts that made the year special. Think about all your past layouts, default icons, mood themes and fandoms. How about all those dorama you spent the whole night watching, or the people you stalked over the internt. The 2009 scrapbook post is a way to help you remember all of that, in a single post.

Since I only started this today, August 24, 2009, I won't be able to include the first quarter of the year, although I would really try very hard (*3*)
